How To Build a Gravity-Based PVC Aquaponic Garden Very Easily [VIDEO]

An aquaponics system could take you a long way toward self-sufficiency. But what is aquaponics exactly?

Think of this as an extension of hydroponics.  With an aquaponics setup you will be growing plant life in water, just like with hydroponics, and you can have sustainable plant based foods to keep you fed indefinitely.

But aquaponics is a self contained ecosystem that injects a fish habitat into the mix.  Essentially the fish create the fertilizer that the plants feed on, and the plants work to keep the water clean.

If you do this correctly, you can have unlimited fish protein and unlimited vegetables for your family.

Is aquaponics a difficult concept?  How easy is it to get started?  Is it expensive?

There are quite a few methods that can be followed. The one explained in the video is a simple setup that is easy and cheap to construct. This is important because if you start out with a complex, deluxe system this will be intimidating and expensive.  You do not need this.  Start small and if you love it, you can expand.
